It’s the numbers that matter.
Politicians don’t listen. We must inundate them with emails and calls to get their attention. They have to be hammered daily, continuously, and relentlessly. And don’t think for an instant that any politician is going to actually READ your emails or LISTEN to your voicemails. It all goes to staff, It’s all managed by staff, and it’s staff (or an auto-response) that replies- If there IS any response at all. But our efforts do not go un-noticed. While they’re certainly not going to spend their time actually READING what their constituents have to say - after all, in their minds their time is far more valuable than the time YOU took to actually write or call - what they will hear about (again, from staff) is the VOLUME of calls and emails received. If their voicemail boxes are forever full, their email inboxes flooded, staff will let them know “Hey, the people are pissed”. It’s all about numbers - the VOLUME of messages - and WE must be RELENTLESS. Use the links here to find the contact information for your representatives. Then let them have it. Endlessly. Now, don’t be stupid about it. If you write or leave voicemail that is threatening you’re very likely to have “unwanted” visitors in dark suits at some point. Be frank, be honest, be demanding - but don’t be a fool. Conservatives are already targeted, painting that target directly on your back is only going to cause you grief. If you plan to leave a voice message - think about what you want to say before you start dialing. If you’re seriously pissed off (and there’s plenty of that to go around) - don’t call. Give it 30 minutes. If you write a particularly scathing email let it sit in your outbox for a bit, read it again in an hour - hmm, might be wise to delete that line about hoping he or she drops dead and burns in hell - THEN hit send.This is something we simply MUST DO.
is it as boring as watching paint dry? Yes. Is it time consuming? Yes. Is it something we can dismiss, relying “on someone else” to do? Absolutely not. If we’re unwilling to put in the effort we cannot expect anything to change. It’s that simple. Our “representatives” MUST know we are watching. We EXPECT them to uphold conservative values and if they do not - we will vote them out.
Donations
If there’s one thing at which all politicians excel - it’s asking for money. Their requests for donations is un- ending. Everything is “urgent”, there’s always a “deadline” or “act now to be triple matched”. It’s all bullshit. They want YOUR money - period. The RNC is a crooked as the DNC. What did the RNC do to address the theft of the recent election? Absolutely nothing. (other than ask for money to “continue the fight”) Money sent to the RNC is used to support the very RINO’s we seek to remove! If you’ve identified a representative you TRUST - based on their voting record - if you’re able, then by all means support that representative DIRECTLY. NEVER donate money simply because there’s an “R” following the name. (Think Lindsey Graham, Mitch McConnell, Mitt Romney, et al.) You’ve worked too hard for your money - so remember what your mother told you - spend it wisely!
